Here is the Parrish update for November 24th-December 5th

*Fr. Charles is out of town to support his brother Doug and to help with the burial service of his wife Cheri, who passed a week and a half ago. Please pray for his family during this time of loss. Fr. Charles will be back in the office on Saturday, Nov. 27th. If you have a pastoral emergency, please contact the parish office or Fr. Charles on his cell phone.

Wednesday, Nov. 24:
–Thanksgiving Eve service at 6 PM. Pastor Grace Pardun Alworth from St. Matthew Lutheran
Church will lead worship. Pie will be served after the service in Grace Church’s Parish Hall. All
are welcome to come and celebrate Thanksgiving Eve with our dear friends at St. Matthew
Lutheran Church.
Thursday, Nov. 25 & Friday, Nov. 26:
–The church office is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, we will be back in the office at 9 AM on Monday, Nov. 29
Sunday, Nov. 28: Advent 1
–Holy Eucharist at 8 AM & 10 AM (in-person & Facebook)
–Hanging of the Greens after the 10 AM service

Additional Notes:
–Small Groups are forming to help celebrate the Advent season and to connect with others using the Way of Love series from our Presiding Bishop Michael Curry. If you would like to host a small group (5 to 10 people) to reflect on Scriptures, eat together, and get to know others, please contact Fr. Charles about the material or how to host a group.
–Hospitality at Grace Episcopal Church has always been a core part of the congregation’s culture. We want to continue this ministry of welcome and fellowship outside as people leave church in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of Grace Church. Please sign-up at church if you and your family would like to offer this act of welcome for our congregation.

–Habitat for Humanity Bank boxes are now being collected to return back to Habitat for
Humanity here at Grace Church. Please return your bank boxes by the end of the month, so that
the church staff can return these banks with money back to Habitat for Humanity. These kind
