Please verify that your information is correct or, if you or your family are not in the directory, write your current information on one of the yellow notepads so we can add it to the new directory.
Acolytes Needed: On Sundays and other special occasions here at Grace church Fr. Charles or other supply priests need help at the altar and other duties in leading worship for our faith community. Tuesday, April 1 at 5:30pm in the Grace Library, “Exodus! Tracing the Journey of Ancient Israelites from Oppression to Freedom”. Join Dr. Erica Monge-Greer, a biblical scholar specializing in Hebrew and biblical ethics, for the 4th of a five-week Lenten bible study leading up Easter. She examines themes of biblical leadership, divine justice and covenant ethics, focusing on how the story of Exodus builds on Genesis and sets the foundation for the rest of the Torah. Each class is self-contained. This week the theme is “The Night of Watching: Sacrifice, Redemption, and Covenant.” All are welcome.
Sunday March 30th at 9:00 am in the Grace Library, “Stations of the Cross/ Care of Creation”. Join Gloria McElearney for the 2nd class in this five-week course using beautiful visuals, poetry and scripture to further enrich the Stations of the Cross experience. The class also highlights the need to care for each other and the fragile planet we call home. Each class is self-contained and begins with the question: “In REPAIR-WORK Do We Take the Path of Least Resistance?
The Wednesday Prayer Experience: There are no Noonday services during Lent. Instead, the Wednesday Prayer Experience will be at 5 PM before family potluck. This Wednesday we will be celebrating Taize Evening Prayer. All are welcome.
Wednesday Family Potlucks: Join us for our Church Family Potluck suppers this Wednesday from 5:30-6:00 PM. Every Wednesday during the school year we will have a certain theme/focus for food. The theme for this Wednesday, April 2nd will be recipes with Hot (or Mild) & Spicy. All are Welcome!
The Gift of Silence: A Sacred Time Before Worship: Beginning in Lent Grace Church will introduce a period of Quiet Meditation in church prior to our 10 AM Sunday service. This time of quiet reflection will begin after the Choir concludes their brief musical practice (9:45-9:55 AM) and will end five minutes before worship begins with the musical prelude. This survey request encourages everyone to embrace this time as a spiritual gift—an opportunity to listen, to be present, and to prepare our hearts for worship. Rest, Reflect and Refresh.
Easter Singing: Come and join the choir for Easter. The choir would like to invite anyone to come and join the choir this Lenten season to warm-up singing talent to prepare for the biggest celebration of the church year on Easter Sunday. Come Wednesdays at 6 PM.
